Ok, ok… so I know the beam is like the “girl” gymnastic event or whatevs, but it’s totally not my fault that my playground doesn’t have the still rings. Plus you don’t want to see me bust out my inverted iron cross – it’s like watching a blond Blaine Wilson.

Shannon Miller. But, to have full disclosure, I had to google that one. At least I immediately got the reference, right? And, for the record, you look totally masculine and fabulous in balance beam mode!

I admit to knowing zero of the newbies in pro gymnastics, which is why the reference dates back to the ancient years of the early 90s…

Well, I don’t know who Blaine Wilson is, if it makes you feel any better. And, “Hugo” why can you only remember 90s era gymnasts when you were born in the ’00s??? A plot hole? I think so
